In recent days

During last days there were few species in Plaiaundi. Even so, some of them were species that we saw for the first time. For instance, the Purple Heron on Tuesday (see my previous post).

To start with, I'd stand up the presence of five Black-winged Stilts on Monday. They were near the airport taking short flights from time to time.

On Tuesday, apart of the Purple Heron I tell you before, I'd underline the presence of eleven Bar-tailed Godwits. They were likely some of those I posted last week. On the other hand, there were some six Grey Plovers with their blackened chest.

Unfortunately, Wednesday was rainy and gloomy, so birds were hidden. Who knows where they were!

Nevertheless, on Thursday we saw two new spcecies we haven't seen before. A Garden Warbler and a Spotted Flycatcher.

Finally, yesterday we saw a Orphean Warbler which which I couldn`t take a photo..., or it was a Sardinian Warbler?
A bit earlier we saw a really rare species in the park, a Western Reef Egret. Maybe, it was a Purple Heron. The photos I took of this species aren't good, but I hung a sample to see someone can tell me whether I am wrong.
